First Aid for Schools

Highway 2 First Aid delivers courses to schools. This includes First Aid training for Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and Sports Leaders. We are happy to run our courses through the school day and within the constraints of the school timetable. We can also run both First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid to senior pupils. This is a great qualification to have on a CV.

- BLS (Basic Life Support and CPR)
- Treatment of an unconscious casualty
- Choking
- Dealing with Shock
- Control of Bleeding
- Common Medical Conditions
- Fractures
- Strains/Sprains

Course Duration : (4 - 6 hours contact time)

Annual Skill Updates
The HSE strongly recommends that First Aiders Undertake yearly refresher training. Highway 2 First Aid runs 3 hour update sessions.
